Written in Bengali, &#8220;Byabodhan&#8221; was first published in 1914 and has since become a classic in Bengali literature.<\/p>\n<p>The play revolves around the story of Charulata, the young wife of Bhupati, a wealthy and intellectually inclined Bengali intellectual. Charulata feels lonely and neglected due to her husband&#8217;s preoccupation with his work and his cousin, Amal, who shares his interests.
